Arrival and Departure Procedures:
Outside Procedures:
-We will attempt to be outside as much as possible. If it is 25 degrees or warmer we will be going outside. If there is snow, we will be allowed to play in the snow as long the students follow the "Frosty 5" rules (see below). We do have some extra hats, gloves, coats etc., if you borrow them they must be returned in order to have enough to share. Thanks!
BUS:
-All buses will drop off and pick up on Main Street. There will be no double parking. No one will be allowed to park in the yellow striped no parking bus zone along Main Street. You may pull up along Leland Street and let your child get out, but do not park and walk them to the door. There will be staff at all doors to help monitor students as they enter the building. Thank you for your continued support.
-Between the hours of 8:00AM and 9:00AM we are asking that you stay behind the fences after drop off. Unless you are in need of visiting the office, remain behind the fence. There is no supervision on the playground until 8:05 AM. Children may come in for breakfast at 7:50AM. If you are not eating breakfast drop off starts at 8:05AM.
-At pick up, between the hours of 2:00pm-3:00pm please stay back behind the fences, this allows for teachers to clearly see who is picking up their students.
-If your child's transportation should need to change in anyway, please send a note with your child or message your child's teacher on Class Dojo before 12PM.

Spring Music Concert:
Hello! We have been working very hard on our Spring Music Program and are looking forward to sharing it with you! The program will take place on Thursday, March 21 at Central Intermediate School. The third grade will perform at 6:00 p.m. and students will need to report to the Central Gym at 5:45 p.m.
This year’s program is called, “Lemonade!” The program is about fairytale and nursery rhyme characters having a BAD DAY! However, with the help of cheerful Mother Goose, they discover how they can learn to make the best of life’s ups and downs. Students may wear nice school clothes to the program. Please no flip flops! We will continue to practice our songs in music class each week and will ride the bus to practice at Central on March 21 in the morning.
If your student has been assigned a speaking part, you will find this part attached. Costume suggestions for our speakers are also attached. I ask that all parts be memorized by the week of March 4. Please do not hesitate to email me with any questions that you may have: ksanders@oes141.org
The fourth grade will perform at 7:00 p.m. and students will need to report to the Central Gym at 6:45 p.m.
This year’s program is called, “Let’s Jam! It’s Our Band.” In this program, the students have been given the task of forming a band and playing for the audience! However, they have studied so many cool styles that they don’t know which one to choose!!!
The program covers a variety of musical genres, such as Motown, Reggae, Country, Blues, etc. Students are encouraged to pick their favorite music style and dress that way! Suggested concert clothing ideas include: Hawaiian shirts and shorts, rock band shirts, country plaid shirts and cowboy hats, etc. Make sure that all costumes are school appropriate and there are no flip flops allowed!!! We will continue to practice our songs in music class each week and will ride the bus to practice at Central on March 21 in the morning.
If your student has been assigned a speaking part, you will find this part attached. I ask that all parts be memorized by the week of March 4. Please do not hesitate to email me with any questions that you may have: ksanders@oes141.org
