Third grade has had a busy & fun month in December. We all visited The Little Red Schoolhouse and enjoyed Christmas fun with Mrs. Roth. In Social Studies, we have been learning about holiday traditions and customs around the world. In Science, we worked in groups to plan, build, test, and rebuild igloos. We have been reviewing CAFE reading skills through fun holiday read alouds. We also met our reading goal for the number of books read, so all third graders got to adopt a reading buddy! In writing, students designed new Santa suits and wrote letters to Mrs. Claus and Elvin the Elf to persuade them to choose their suits. The kiddos all had fun shopping at the Holiday Shop for their family members!
