Life Skills

It has been a fun and busy holiday season in K-2 Life Skills. We completed both our snow and gingerbread units with some sensory fun! We finger painted to create paper snowflakes and used milk cartons to create gingerbread houses. We all enjoyed getting messy and trying new things together.

December was a busy month! We learned about hibernation, and how animals rest in the winter to save energy. This unit included information about bears, hedgehogs, groundhogs, and even snails and ladybugs! We also participated in some festive fun. Our first and second graders will be in the Christmas program and they've been working hard to learn the songs and dance moves. We hope everyone had a safe and relaxing winter break and we look forward to seeing everyone in the new year!
