Second grade has had a busy November and December that are going by quickly! All classes were able to go visit the Little Red Schoolhouse with Mrs. Roth. There the students were transported back in time to 1885, where they learned all about the holidays back then.
In class, we have been working on two-digit subtraction in math. In social studies, we started learning about holidays that are celebrated this time of year all around the world. In writing, we wrote about what we are thankful for as well as our own holiday traditions. We even wrote an opinion piece!
Students enjoyed performing at their music program! They worked very hard in music class to prepare for this performance.
