Second grade has had quite the January! We came back to 2024 with snow and cold! What a crazy few weeks it has been, but we have made the best of it!
In class, we have been working on our graphing unit in math. Students are being exposed to picture graphs, bar graphs, and line plots. In writing, we are beginning our "how to" unit. In Social Studies, we took time to look back on the work MLK accomplished and the changes he made. Students also learned about the history of hot chocolate!
Students did an AMAZING job working with Google Classroom and completing their work during our e-learning days! We learned how flexible and fabulous our students truly are!
Students were thrilled to be back with their friends and set goals for the second half of second grade! We are excited to see the growth each class is making!
