3rd grade has had a busy, great month. We finished our state IAR assessment and the students all did such a great job and worked so hard! We are really proud of their hard work.
In writing, students finished our informational writing unit and created wonderful books and pennants on an animal they researched. Students also wrote about how they are "Lucky Like Gnome Other."
In science, we began learning all about the sun, Earth, and moon. Students used oreos to create each of the different moon phases. We are excited about the upcoming solar eclipse.
3rd graders had their Spring music concert and ROCKED it! They sang so nicely and put on such a great performance!
We also had a great time listening and voting for our favorite books for our March Madness Tournament of Books, and had a fun time participating in the school-wide Rock, Paper, Scissor Tournament!
We hope everyone has a great break and we are looking forward to spring activities!
