Second grade has had a quick, but fun March!
In class, we ended our 3-Digit Addition Unit and began our 3-Digit Subtraction Unit. Students learned all about solids, liquids, and gases. Now we have moved onto discussing people, places, and nature.
Writing has turned us into mini-scientists! We are conducting experiments and explaining our findings. We are working on our Pen Pal letters to students at Jefferson Elementary. In addition, students are also working on monthly journals.
Our CAFE strategies have allowed us to name story elements, explain plot, and discuss character analysis. March Madness has been a blast! The students have LOVED voting for their favorite books.
We can't wait to see what April has in store for us!
