We hope everyone had an enjoyable Spring Break! It is hard to believe our fourth grade students only have a couple of months left at McKinley. We will be so sad to see them go! Until then, we have many fun learning activities planned for the months of April and May.

While students have already learned so much this year, we still have a lot to learn! In writing students will be writing compare and contrast essays. We are continuing to learn about fractions in math and will soon move onto decimals. Students have been enjoying our Energy unit in science, and we are beginning to dive deeper into learning about electricity. Once we are finished with our science unit, we will begin exploring the Western region of the United States for social studies. Finally, in reading we will begin learning about traditional literature. This is always very enjoyable for the kids!
