1st graders are finishing up their yearlong kindness project with one more drop off at the micro food pantries scheduled for May 13th. Big THANK YOU to all the families that have supported this kindness project. We are making a difference in our community.
Our writing is really shaping up to help us express our opinions and write about them. We’ve had many opportunities to make choices and defend them in interesting ways.
We’ve been out of this world learning about space this month. The solar eclipse at the beginning of the month kicked off our journey through space that taught us about the relationship between our Sun, Moon, and Earth as well as our place in our solar system among the other planets. We are excited for what the rest of the school year will bring!
